General Info

Tucked away in Anjo, Aichi, Hana No Utage 花の宴 offers a refreshing take on a Western restaurant experience with a distinctly Japanese touch. From the moment you arrive, the free parking lot makes things easy, especially if you’re planning a relaxed dine-in visit without the hassle of searching for a spot. The setting feels calm and welcoming, making it a great choice whether you're stopping by for lunch or planning a quiet meal to unwind.

What really stands out here is the thoughtfully curated menu. Each dish feels intentional, blending comforting Western flavors with refined presentation. The 特選牛フィレ肉のロティ 季節の温野菜添え is a highlight-perfectly cooked beef fillet paired with seasonal warm vegetables that add both color and balance to the plate. It’s rich without being overwhelming. Then there’s the ポロ葱のポタージュ, a smooth and creamy leek potage that feels like a warm hug in a bowl, especially satisfying during a midday break.

If you’re in the mood for something a bit more unique, the 豚しゃぶとゴーヤの梅おかか御飯 brings together delicate pork shabu and the slight bitterness of goya, balanced beautifully with plum and bonito flavors. It’s one of those dishes that surprises you in the best way. The 鴨肉のほなゃらら adds another layer to the experience, offering a rich and savory option for those who enjoy deeper, more robust flavors. And just when you think you’re done, the お口直しのシャーベット comes in as a refreshing palate cleanser-light, cool, and perfectly timed.

Another detail that shouldn’t be overlooked is the great tea selection. Whether you’re pairing it with your meal or enjoying it on its own, it adds a calming finish to the overall experience. Payment is also convenient, with options like au PAY available, which is always a plus for modern diners.

Overall, this location feels like a hidden gem for anyone exploring restaurants in Anjo. The balance between menu variety, thoughtful service, and a comfortable dine-in atmosphere makes it easy to see why reviews often highlight the consistency and care put into each dish.

What customers say?

“ Had a course with detailed food and well priced. The dishes were well presented and with quality ingredients. The grounds and building are excellent and are a character all of their own. Staff were mostly ok and accommodating. One minor complaint was when one waiter questioned my choice to ask for more salt to add to the oil with bread 'isn't it too salty?'. A strange thing as it's not the kind of thing a waiter should put their opinion into. But overall a pleasant experience. ”

“ The restaurant is a Japanese-style building with a courtyard and has a refined, dignified interior with the warmth of wood. When I sat down, my table was set with an abundance of forks, knives, and spoons for different meals. The meal began with an elaborate amuse-bouche, and the next dish was brought out just as I finished my first. I was able to dine in a wonderful atmosphere and spend an elegant time. ”

“ The restaurant, which was renovated from an old Japanese house, was a relaxing place to dine. The food was beautifully presented and the portions were not too large, which was nice. The light flavoring did not seem to appeal to my elderly mother. ”

“ We went here for a family member's birthday. First of all, the building is impressive. The seats are spacious and there's ample distance between people. We had lunch in May, during the "season for enjoying the outdoors." The food was exactly as the name suggests. Themed meals are so fun. The food was elegant and delicious. When we mentioned it was a birthday, they served dessert with a music box playing Happy Birthday. ”

“ It's a treasure trove of sweets! I made a reservation at this famous French-Italian restaurant in Anjo to celebrate my birthday. It's been about 15 years since I last visited. [Exterior/Interior, etc.] - This 80-year-old traditional Japanese house has a certain charm. I hesitated to enter with my shoes on. - The front yard has a typical Japanese garden atmosphere. The small courtyard has a natural landscape. The tiles on the gazebo give off a sense of age. - The interior is meticulously designed with the 4S principles, and the furnishings are tasteful and lovely. - The service is also pleasant. [Order] - SAKURA Course ¥3,980 - Jewel Dessert ¥1,320 - Pink Grapefruit Juice ¥600 [Review] - Excellent value for money. The ingredients are of high quality for the price. And it's delicious. - The work is thorough. The jewel dessert in particular looks great. The bee is adorable, so I love it! ・Even when I asked for something a little difficult, they were able to accommodate me. I'm grateful. ”

“ Food - I liked it, but it was something quite different for me. Overall it was tasty, if I could I'd give it 4.5 stars. Service - I was very well treated, they did everything I asked, from ordering dessert to writing something for my mother. Maximum score. Atmosphere - very private place, I recommend it for couples or adults only. ”

“ I went here for a friend's birthday I've performed here for work, attended weddings, celebrated 10-year wedding anniversaries, and many other special occasions The service, food, and location are all fantastic! I highly recommend it for business dinners too! Please make a reservation ”

“ We use this restaurant every year for family events. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. This time it was my daughter's birthday. We paid extra to add a dessert plate, which was a delightful sight and taste. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were only two other groups there at the time we requested. We enjoyed ourselves for about two hours. ”
